If you’re in search of the perfect Halloween activity but you’re not a fan of monsters or haunted houses, a brand new Halloween concert series that is coming to Toronto is definitely in your list of things to do.
The Candlelight Concerts will be starting in the 6ix, with spooktacular Halloween-themed performances that will send you into a frenzy.
The concert experience of Fever will take place in stunningly gorgeous venues in the city, giving attendees the opportunity to “experience live entertainment in a totally different manner.”
You’ll listen to the music of your favorite horror films, like John Carpenter’s iconic Halloween theme, as well as the creepy Tubular Bells theme from The Exorcist performed by the Listeso String Quartet.
Visitors will also be able listen to spooky music such as Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the Ghostbusters theme as well as the music of Stranger Things, as well as classical music.

The concert is taking place in The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto the Gothic-style church in Chinatown and the Parkdale Hall, an event location situated on Queen Street.
The venues are lit by many candles (don’t be concerned, they’re using LEDs) to create an amazing setting while you listen to the haunting soundtracks of composers and films.
The concerts will take place in the Metropolitan Community Church on October 27 and 28, as well as in the hall of Parkdale Hall on October 21 and 28, 2023.
Tickets are now available online. Prices start at $25 per person. Tickets need to be bought prior to the date of the event.
Other candlelight shows that are scheduled for Toronto include a celebration of Taylor Swift, the best of composers for film music Hans Zimmer, and songs from “magical film soundtracks.”
