Antisemitic Attack in New York: Teen Threatens Child with Knife, Shouts ‘Heil Hitler’ in Shocking Playground Incident
A teenager threatened a small kid with his knife and said, “I will kill you, Jew,” in the most recent antisemitic riot on New York’s Big Apple, police and law enforcement sources told.
The horrific incident took place at the playground of KIPP AMP Middle School and MS 354 on Monday night in Crown Heights, according to the NYPD and the mother of the victim, who claimed her daughter was targeted during the incident.
“My kids were shaking, and they were crying,” Chaya Sundroy, who emigrated to the US after a trip to Israel 10 years ago, said. “They demanded to know why – that we didn’t help them, what they were saying to him about this, and why they would like to kill us. They were truly, deeply terrified about the whole thing.”

Sources from the police say that the man also shouted “Heil Hitler” at the boy. However, Sundroy, playing in the parks with her kids, claimed that the scream was directed toward her daughter.
In the aftermath of the attack, a few people also yelled “Allah Akbar” in front of children, as per Sundroy as well as police officials.
The first attack took place shortly after the family had arrived at the park at around 6 p.m. According to Sundroy.
